Xbox One backward compatibility adds eight original Xbox games including Morrowind

Microsoft is killing it with this stuff

A bunch more original Xbox games will become playable on Xbox One this month, but Microsoft is splitting them up into two groups. The first wave rolls out today. Here’s what we’re looking at:

  • Blinx: The Time Sweeper
  • Breakdown
  • Conker: Live & Reloaded
  • The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
  • Hunter: The Reckoning
  • Jade Empire
  • Panzer Dragoon Orta
  • SSX 3

Straight up, backward compatibility is one of the best things going for Xbox One. If you own these on-disc, you can just pop ’em in, otherwise you can grab the games digitally from the Microsoft Store.

The next group of backward-compatible Xbox games is set for April 26 and it’ll include Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction, Star Wars: Republic Commando, and Destroy All Humans.
