Xbox Live Rewards program slightly revamped

New reward methods

The Xbox Live Rewards program is getting a little simpler. From now on, if you spend $150 a year, you’ll actually get 1% back. Yeah, that doesn’t sound like a lot, but if you earn more ranks you can get up to 5%, and if you’re a gold member the amount is doubled — so 10% back is the max.

Also, if you buy any three $60 games on demand, you’ll earn $20 back in credit up to November 30th. Like the Nintendo rewards program for Wii U Pro owners, I enjoy checking my email occasionally and finding out I have a few extra bucks to spend.
