Xbox Live Indie Games returned to old dashboard spot

Microsoft’s recent update to the Xbox 360 dashboard brought a lot of changes to the look and feel of navigating the console. One of the more troubling adjustments came with moving the Xbox Live Indie Games section out of its former place in the Live Marketplace and into the new “Specialty Shops” section. Indie developers expressed concern over the change, saying that the games were now harder to find.

Following some initial protest a week ago that the new system would actually be a benefit to indie developers, giving them a “full marketplace experience,” it seems that Microsoft has decided to revert back to the old system. You can now find Xbox Live Indie Games where they once were, in the Games & Demos section of the Marketplace.
