Xbox Game Pass August

Xbox Game Pass for August includes Limbo and Everspace 2

Another month in the books! This means it’s time we get a look at the first titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in August. As per usual, this includes the additions coming in the first half of the month. Typically more titles are added in the middle of the month as well. Also, even though it was technically highlighted in the July update, Celeste is part of the Game Pass as of today… which is August 1. So that’s part of August as well.

It’s looking like August will be another month for indie titles, with games like A Short Hike and Broforce Forever.

City building and management game Airborne Kingdom comes to Game Pass later this month as well, which looks like it could be a lot of fun. In Airborne Kingdom we get to build a unique town amongst the clouds as it flies across a wide-open landscape.

The indie adventure game Limbo is also coming later this month. We scored Limbo a flawless 10/10 when it was released over a decade ago. If you never got a chance to play it you should definitely check it out. Even though the age may worry you, Limbo certainly holds up to modern games. It’s a uniquely haunting narrative laden with immersive audio and visuals. A very enjoyable experience all around!

Finally, Everspace 2 rounds out the first half of August. The fast-paced space shooter recently left Early Access and has become a popular follow-up to the original.

Here’s the full list of titles being added to Xbox Game Pass for the first half of August.
