Worms Battlegrounds announced for PS4 and Xbox One

One of the first games for ID@Xbox

After Microsoft dropped the news this morning of a mysterious new Worms game for the Xbox One, developer Team 17 has announced Worms Battlegrounds for the XB1 and PS4. Team 17 makes a special mention of its participation in the ID@Xbox program, as it’s one of the original supporters of the initiative.

Not a whole lot is known at this point other than a nebulous release date of 2014, but odds are there’s going to be a lot of worms, weapons, and destruction involved.
