Whip out your calendar, Sega Vintage Collection 2 has a date

Sega’s second line-up of self-proclaimed classics for Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network, dubbed Vintage Collection 2, has received a solid release date. On June 10, Gunstar Heroes, Altered Beast, Shinobi (arcade version), Comix Zone, Phantasy Star 2, and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 are all making their way to XBLA.

On June 11, however, only Gunstar Heroes is hitting PSN. Where’s the love? Additionally, we are also told that Sonic and Knuckles is headed for XBLA sometime this summer.

All of the titles excluding Phantasy Star 2, Comix Zone, and Shinobi will have network functionality, and the entire Vintage Collection 2 contains support for online leaderboards and has the option to HD-ify the games if you want (trust me, you don’t).

In case you recently experienced memory loss and forgot what these videogames look and sound like, Sega has tossed over a trailer with footage of the lot of ’em.
