Where to find Starsilver Ore in Genshin Impact

Brrrrrr, it's chilly!

Starsilver in Genshin Impact (aka Starsilver Ore) is spotted in a very cold place in Teyvat. If you find it, you can finish a certain side quest and craft three different weapons in the game.

Starsilver Genshin Impact location

To spot Starsilver in Genshin Impact, you’ll need to venture to the annoying Dragonspine area. This frosty mountain location is the only place you’ll find this particular rock form. This is a shame because there’s a frustrating mechanic around keeping warm. You’ll need to hang out nearby lit torches (which you can enflame), shrines, fast travel locations, and mechanisms which heat up its surrounding area after a period of time. You can also hit and collect Scarlet Quartz, the red crystals on the pathway.

Starsilver is spotted within the rock formations of Dragonspine. They’re slightly tinted blue and have three pointed edges to them. They’re facing up, attached to these rocks. Thankfully, you won’t need a heavy sword user like Chongyun to break them. Check the map locations in the above image to get the Starsilver you need.

You may be venturing far into these cold mountains, especially if you’re taking the Festering Fang quest. It needs a huge total of 50, so good luck on finishing it. You’ll be rewarded handsomely, however, as it gives 450 experience, 50 Primogems, a Level 1 four star weapon Dragonspine Spear, and a Dragonspine Spear diagram. Spear users like Hu Tao, Mika, and Zhongli can equip it.

It’s arguably easier to find other resources like Whopperflower Nectar and Philanemo Mushrooms in Genshin Impact than Starsilver.

Where to spot the Strange Teeth

Part of the aforementioned Festering Fang quest requires you to find three Strange Teeth. There are three spots indicated by yellow circles on the map when you set Festering Fang as your main quest. To the north of Dragonspine on the river, you’ll find an isolated circular piece of land. Enemies are surrounding it, but there’s some ice taking up most of the space. Heat it up with a pyro user and then the first Strange Tooth can be picked up.

The second Strange Tooth is within the Wyrmrest Valley. Go to the fast travel location and then jump off the ledge. You’ll see stones shaped like half-arches. Go down to the ground and on the left, you’ll see a cave covered in red energy. You’ll notice a big tooth that’s rooted on the ground. Pick it up to get the second. You’ll know you’re in the right place if Paimon says she’s creeped out.

The last Strange Tooth is located south nearby the water. Fast travel to the location inside the yellow circle. Then, cross the water to the beach. On the left, you’ll see rocks that look like teeth. The Strange Teeth is in the middle.
