Like all other event items, this one is quite small and tricky to track down if you don’t know where to look. Removing this item frequently is crucial for unlocking some special event items, though, so here’s where to find the Hockey Trophy in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

The Hockey Trophy spawns around Scrooge McDuck’s shop in the main Dreamlight Valley area. If you participated in this event before 2025, you might be a bit confused since it also used to appear in the Dream Castle. According to the 2025 blog, it only pops up in Scrooge’s store now. I’ve also only seen it there this year, so stick to searching only this location to find it.

To find this item, make sure you’re in the main Dreamlight Valley version of Scrooge McDuck’s store. The ones you have in DLC worlds like Eternity Isle and Storybook Vale aren’t part of this event, so you won’t find what you’re looking for there.

How to get Hockey Trophy in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You can get a Hockey Trophy by venturing to Scrooge McDuck’s shop, approaching one, and selecting the Remove option. The button you need to press varies by platform, but it is always displayed next to this item to make getting it a bit easier. When you interact with this object, it won’t be added to your inventory as you might expect, but it does drop something else you need for the event.

What do Hockey Trophies do in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

The Hockey Trophy item drops a blue Memory Shard for you to collect. This shard may either grant you some Star Coins or a piece of a special Inside Out memory. You need six memory pieces to finish this one, but if you’re unlucky, it might take more than six trophies to get it done.

The memory you can piece together by removing Hockey Trophies features Riley and her parents celebrating her 13th birthday. Fully finishing this memory is crucial for both the Feeling Nostalgic and Feeling Accomplished duties, so it’s an important one to complete if you want to earn all event prizes.

How often do Hockey Trophies respawn in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

One Hocket Trophy respawns every hour as long as there is sufficient room for it to appear. Up to two of these items can be present in Scrooge McDuck’s shop at any given time, so you must remove at least one of them to start the countdown for a new one to appear.

There’s plenty more to get done before the Memory Mania event comes to an end. If you’re not sure what to work on next, some good tasks to tackle are MemorabiliaFeeling ExpansiveGet Nostalgic!Spark Joy, and Embrace the Blues.
