Where to find Flamethrower TM 125 in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Consider this a mid-game TM, in terms of finding it

Getting the traversal abilities early in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is immeasurably useful. Even just the super jump can lead you directly to a ton of TMs on your own, as you forge your way up mountains without needing to literally climb up them. But in any case, they do help! That includes trying to track down the Flamethrower TM.

You can find Flamethrower (TM 125) east of Medali, on a mountainside

You’ll find Flamethrower all the way up a mountainside directly east of Medali: the “fifth” gym in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. Odds are you’ll visit this place later on in your journey, due to road blocks from Team Star and the general midrange level of Pokemon that inhabit it.

As we already mentioned, it would be best to go looking for Flamethrower after you have the ability to scale mountains, as it’s rather high up. We’ve provided both a zoomed-out and zoomed-in view in the gallery above. Note that this is technically considered part of Glaseado Mountain, so you will see some snow pop up as you ascend.

How to craft Flamethrower (TM 125), and the ingredients required

To craft Flamethrower, you’ll need:

  • 10,000 League Points (LP)
  • x3 Litleo Tuft
  • x3 Houndour Fang
  • x3 Numel Lava
