The Faded Red Satin in Genshin Impact is a small, yet useful ascension resource for characters like Alhatham and Faruzan. It can also be used to improve eight different weapons.

You can discover Faded Red Satin by defeating Eremite soldiers all over Sumeru. It’s a common drop, so you should be able to gain this resource quickly. A huge number of Eremite enemies appear on the south side of the desert region in between the Land of Lower Setekh and Land of Upper Setekh. There are a massive number of 725 Eremite foes all over Sumeru, so there are many to find.

How to use Faded Red Satin

Faded Red Satin is used for both character and weapon ascension. The characters include:

• Alhaitham
• Candace
• Dehya
• Dori
• Faruzan

In addition, eight different weapons can be ascended as well, including the Beacon of the Reed Sea and Sapwood Blade.

The quantity of Faded Red Satin you’ll need to ascend Faruzan, for example, includes:

• 1st – 3
• 2nd – 10

Faded Red Satin can then be crafted into a rarer enhancement material Trimmed Red Silk at any crafting table around Teyvat. You’ll also need to find Henna Berries to level Faruzan and Candace up.
