Where to find Henna Berries in Genshin Impact

This must be one of the worst areas in the game.

Henna Berries in Genshin Impact are found within the desert area of the Sumeru region. These berries pop out among the boring beige desert environment.

Henna Berries Genshin Impact locations

There are a total of 102 Henna Berries to find in Genshin Impact. They’re scattered all over the desert of Sumeru. They can be found on huge cacti and can be harvested from them. They most frequent around two spots: Aaru Village and the path south of Tanit Camps.

The Henna Berries have a plump red and yellow stem with pinkish petals. They also have dainty pale yellow spikes on the stem. The game says they are “a fruit that grows even in the most hostile of desert environments. I personally found them hard to spot, but they do beam in red within the bland beige landscape.

Both Candace and Faruzan (who are great in a team with fan favorite Xiao) use this fruit as an ascension resource. Here’s how much they’ll need to level up:

  • 1st: 3
  • 2nd: 10
  • 3rd: 20
  • 4th: 30
  • 5th: 45
  • 6th: 60

Strangely Henna Berries can’t be bought from shopkeepers, unlike Cecilia and Calla Lilies from Mondstadt. Hopefully, someone will sell them in the future.

What else can you find in Sumeru?

Sumeru is home to many different resources. Eremites in the area drop important enhancement materials like Rich Red Brocades. Candace, for example, needs 12 of them to ascend to level 70. Rukkhashava Mushrooms can also be found within the forested area of Sumeru. They help ascend characters like the adorable Collei.
