Where to find demon guards in Fortnite Chapter 6, season 3

They're decently tricky to find.

Many quests given to you by characters wandering around the island in Fortnite task you with tracking down specific enemies, items, and locations. One of the tasks you’ll encounter this season requires you to find and defeat demon guards.

Tracking down these characters is fairly tricky since you likely won’t know where to look even if you’ve encountered them before. They’re an essential quest enemy to know about, so here’s where to find demon guards in Fortnite.

The only location you can reliably visit to find demon guards in every match is Demon’s Domain. They always wander around this POI to protect Daigo, the boss situated up in the tower in the middle of the area. You can generally find them down on the ground wandering around the outskirts of the map, but be sure to check the entire location since they can be hanging around anywhere.

Outside of Demon’s Domain, demon guards can also be found at all Overlord Spires and Scout Spires. They’re a little bit trickier to find at these locations since they don’t spawn right away. As you fight against Overlord Spires and Scout Spires, demon guards eventually spawn in to protect them. There’s no way to predict exactly when they’ll appear, but it seems to be after you’ve taken out about half of the Spires’ health.

Demon guards spawn out of dark red portals near the Spires. I’ve only ever seen three spawn to protect them, so you’ve got exactly the right amount to complete the quest associated with them. Be sure to take them out as quickly as possible to avoid enemy players swooping in and stealing the kill.

Both Overlord Spires and Scout Spires are marked with white diamond-like icons on the map. There’s just one Overlord Spire in each round and around five Scout Spires. The Overlord Spire has a large icon surrounded by purple fog, while the Scout Spires have a smaller one. They shift around the island in every match, so you have to check your map in each one to know where to find them.

What do demon guards look like in Fortnite Chapter 6, season 3?

There are two different types of demon guards you may encounter. The first wears all black and white with a black mask that has pointed horns. The second kind has similar attire, but it’s black and gold. Both have slightly glowing purple eyes on their masks. If you’re caught up in a battle when they spawn, they can be easy to overlook or mistake for enemy players.

How to defeat demon guards in Fortnite Chapter 6, season 3

For the defeat demon guards quest that’s part of Kendo’s Brothers of Mask and Blade quests, you need to eliminate a total of three demon guards. Like most NPCs and enemies, their aim is terrible, so just use whatever weapons you have against them until you defeat them. There are no special tricks required for taking them out, so just attack them with everything you’ve got.
