If you want to start your DMZ journey on the right foot in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, knowing where to farm Comms Modules is necessary. After all, you will need it to unlock the Uncommon Ingredient Printing upgrade.
So you can start production as soon as possible, this guide will cover all Comms Module locations in DMZ and which areas you should prioritize during your search.

All Comms Module locations in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 DMZ
You can find Comms Modules in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ by examining the computers on the top floor of multiple buildings east of Deadtown, as well as the computers and physical servers on both Cheonwang Peak Array and The Grid’s Netshin Tech Complex. We marked the locations of all buildings where we managed to find the ingredient below. But don’t forget, the module is an Epic chance spawn.
If you are just starting, the first two areas are also your safest bet (with Deadtown being my preferred spot). Not only is The Grid a critical threat area, but the complex takes it a step further via its Extreme rating and the presence of one of Hajin’s most dangerous lieutenants, Jang-Ui. The building also serves as the main stage for the Operation Grid Assault Story Mission.
The best way to farm Comms Modules in MW4 DMZ
Like pretty much all ingredients in the mode, the best way to farm Comms Modules in MW4 DMZ is to craft them in exchange for 100x Electronics and 3x CPUs at your 3D Printer. You will need to first unlock the Epic Ingredient Printing upgrade ($100,000, 10x Binding Catalysts, 10x Printed Circuit Boards, and 5x Military Composites) to do it, so save up.
