Let’s all go to the lobby
It’s the weekend, and it’s time for Whatcha Been Playing? Thanks as always for showing out. I know you worked hard to get to the weekend, and it means a lot to me that you spare a few minutes of it sharing the love with myself and the entire Destructoid community. My week has been pretty busy. I have a lot going on both in my reel lyfe and on the good ship Dtoid, and it’s kept me from playing much of anything new. No Metroid Dread for yer boy Moyse. But that’s fine. I have plenty of other games queued up, (don’t we all?), and I’m too old to ensure I’m there day and date for any of them… At least the ones I’m not playing for this here website.
It’s been a mega week for movie news. Not only is the honeymoon period over on the long, long-delayed Bond flick No Time to Die, but we are finally on the cusp of seeing Denis Villeneuve’s Dune. At the other end of the spectrum, this week saw the first trailer for Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City — which I think looks like a very silly good time — and the fifth entry in the solid and mostly reliable Scream franchise. Can’t wait to hang with Sydney again. If that wasn’t enough, today sees the arrival of DC FanDome, which promises a new trailer for The Batman, among a slew of other previews. Exciting times for cinemagoers… Umm… and those of us still avoiding the cinema for obvious reasons.
