Whatcha been playing this week, Destructoid?

Wabbit Season

Recommended Videos

And just like that, it’s September. Don’t look at me, I didn’t fuck with the clock. I’m Chris, not Crisbell. I guess it just sort of “happened”. Yesterday I was putting on my favorite “Today is January 1” shirt, and the next day it was September. I can feel the fall in the air already, the evenings are already getting darker, the trees browning, and my knees seizing up. Still, at least there’s lots of great games to look forward to this new season… Well, there’s Deathloop… If you have a PS5. Umm…

Look, I’m being semi-facetious. There’s no stopping Old Father Time — it’s simply the way it is. I hope that the summer treated you very well, and I’m looking forward to all of the films, games, TV shows, and other fine media offerings of the coming few months. More so, I’m looking forward to spending another season with all of you, the good folks of the Destructoid community. I sincerely appreciate you reaching out last week, and while I can’t claim to feel much better, your warmth, kindness, and sharing mean the world to me. I have little new to report, save for some time spent in the furry world of Bilibili’s F.I.S.T Forged in Shadow Torch. Keep an eye out for my review, headed your way soon.

So, before you get started on this first weekend of the new month, be sure to jump into the comments and let us know how you’re doing, what’s going on in your neck of the woods, and, of course, Whatcha Been Playing? You know how this works but for newcomers, simply fill in your fellow community members on the games currently eating up your free time. Whether old, new, replays or premieres, good or bad — it all makes up the fine tapestry of this weekly event, so have fun being a part of it. We love hearing from all of you.

Have a happy and wonderful weekend, from all of us at Destructoid.
