Phasmophobia Hide and Seek: Seeker weekly challenge mode tips
This is one of the trickier challenges in Phasmophobia, so here are some of the best tips you can employ to help you get it done.
- Take all the risks you want. This is the only challenge where the ghost is friendly, and you won’t naturally lose sanity, so there’s no risk of death here. Because of this, you can do whatever you want without worrying about consequences. Provoke the ghost, hang out in the dark, and otherwise investigate however you want. Your sanity might go down if you witness ghost events, but even if it gets low, you can’t die.
- Use Sound Sensors and Motion Sensors. Brownstone High School is a massive map, so the toughest part of this trial is simply finding the ghost. Placing these items down around the first and second floors will help you narrow down the right area to search based on what activity you pick up.
- Check the truck cameras. It’s a long shot, but if you’re lucky, you might catch some Ghost Orbs, open doors, or other hints to point you in the right direction on the cameras in the truck.
- Watch for unofficial evidence, behaviors, and patterns. The ghost is tough to find and not very interactive in this trial, so try to watch for unofficial evidence to help you identify it more quickly. Examples of what to search for include specific noises picked up by the Sound Recorder, Ghost Orbs left behind by The Mimic, and the Wraith’s refusal to ever step in Salt.
- Play with friends. Your odds of success are a lot better with allies helping you through this tricky trial. With additional ghost hunters at your side, you can explore the map more quickly, work together to gather evidence, and continue the investigation even if you perish.
- Don’t give up. Since all equipment is provided for free, there’s nothing to lose in this challenge. Because of this, you can keep trying without worrying about losing money or equipment. Give each contract your all and keep at it until you get it done.
- Make an educated guess. Some ghosts are just easier to identify than others, so luck plays a large role in how easy or tough this trial is. You should always guess before you leave, then reroll to try again, even if you have no idea what the correct ghost type is.
