Weekend Deals: Street Fighter V, Xenoblade Chronicles X, and refurbished Wii U units

Hadouken-level discounts

Co-op and 24-hours only is the theme this weekend in video game deals. GMG has a round of co-op titles in its 2016 Summer Sale. Among the roughly 100 discounted co-op titles (full sale breakdown here) we’re getting an all new low on Street Fighter V with a drop to $34.29. That beats out the Steam summer sale price of $39.59 and the previous low of $38.99 from earlier this month.

If you’re an Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo gamer, your eyes need to be trained on Best Buy’s Black Friday in July sale. While all of these deals end later tonight just before midnight, they are some of the best we’ve seen so far this summer. Examples include $20 Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain or $25 Fallout 4 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Even better are rare discounts on Wii U games, like a drop to $29.99 on Xenoblades Chronicels X, Star Fox Zero, and Yoshi’s Woolly World — the lowest prices to date for those titles.

Finally, Nintendo’s eBay shop has deals on a number of refurbished Wii U and 3DS XL units. You’ll find a Wii U 32GB Deluxe set on sale for $225, plus even a New 3DS XL for $170. All of these are factory-refurbished and come with a one-year Nintendo warranty. Plus, buying them from eBay saves you from the shipping charges Nintendo imposes on its own web store.
