That’s precisely how Steven and I have handled Microsoft’s free upgrade program for Windows 10, and I have a feeling we’ll continue resisting change until the last possible minute. You too?

For us laid-back types, Microsoft will offer its free upgrade until July 29, 2016. After that point, the operating system will cost $119 whether you’re buying it for a new device or upgrading from an existing version of Windows. But don’t just take it from me. Hear it from this guy:
