Wave 4 amiibo announced, a separate Mario amiibo line is happening

But the characters will link between the two lines

Wave 4 of the amiibo line is coming! Robin, Lucina, Pac-Man, Ness, Wario, and Charizard are all confirmed for April 24. On March 20, a brand new Mario-specific collection is coming, and includes new characters not based on the Super Smash Bros. models (Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, and Toad).

The different amiibo franchises will work together in their respective games, but you’ll need to delete your save data from another game, such as Super Smash Bros.
