Watch Microsoft’s E3 2012 conference on Xbox Live, Spike

Recommended Videos

As expected, Spike TV will broadcast Microsoft’s 90-minute Xbox: Entertainment Evolved briefing at E3 2012. This event is scheduled for Monday, June 4 at 9:30am Pacific, so set your alarm. Additionally, viewers will be able to catch the stream live on Xbox Live. Somehow, that’s a first. Better late than never, I suppose.

What will Microsoft showcase during those 90 minutes? I’m foolishly still holding out for software that both smartly leverages Kinect and is enjoyable to play in the context of all games — not just motion-controlled games — even if that means having the player use a standard controller in conjunction with the device.

Otherwise, I expect there to be plenty more sequels as we inch closer to the new hardware reveal, which is supposedly not happening at E3. Can’t we at least hear about the damn thing yet? No? Okay…
