Warriors: Legends of Troy supposedly launched on March 8, but you wouldn’t have been able to tell. Pre-orders were not fulfilled, reviews haven’t been published, and I’ve not seen a physical copy anywhere. Apparently it is out there, but not even the retailers know what’s up.
Some North American stores believe the game is out on March 15, while Amazon was able to send copies to its customers yesterday. Even stranger, the Xbox 360 version has been quietly canceled, with no formal announcement or stated reason.
The last official word from Koei is that the game needed “fixing.” What that means for those who have already received copies, nobody can tell. In any case, if you had any interest in the game, be expected to hunt for it — looks like it’ll be a rarity.
We’ll have a review for the game when/if we ever get our copy.
