Warner Bros. hands a rose to The Bachelor videogame

Yup, this is happening.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Ludia announced today that they will be creating videogames based on the hit reality shows The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. According to the press release, the games will be released in 2010 to coincide with the conclusion of the 14th season of The Bachelor.

No other details of the games are known, but, honestly, let me say what we obviously all are thinking: THESE ARE GOING TO BE THE GREATEST VIDEOGAMES EVER CREATED! Actually, no, sorry. What I am really thinking is: How are these games going to work exactly? The Bachelor is about a guy picking a mate amongst a sea of 25 women. And it’s a reality show. There really isn’t any “gaming” on the show to speak of. How is this going to be turned into an interesting videogame? Press “A” to reject woman #6! Tap the “R Trigger” to feel up woman #2! Actually, this could be awesome.

Please speculate in the comments. What kind of videogames could The Bachelor and The Bachelorette possibly be? If they end up being bullet hell shmups or epic RPGs I am in support of this deal 100%.
