It wasn’t long ago that I tried to convince you that Wanted: Weapons of Fate — the upcoming third-person shooter spin-off of the Wanted film — wasn’t as bad as you’d expect it to be. I mean, it’s a game based on a movie that was based on a comic book. Twice removed from its origins, it has a lot going against it.
I dug what I played at Comic Con, and a few days ago, the Baltimore Destructoid offices received a three level preview of the final game. I’ve played through that and … I can’t say anything else. Yet. But I will next week. If you like third-person action games, you’ll want to check out what I have to say.
In the meantime, take a look at this behind-the-scenes video of Wanted: Weapons of Fate, where a bunch of heads talk about making the game. Plenty of in-game footage here, too, so check it out. Also, fellas (and perhaps ladies) — actress who voices one of the game’s characters, Arana, is all pretty-like. That’ll get you to watch, right?
It’s after the jump, so check it out.
