Vlad the closeted dracula talks Magicka 2 co-op friends in therapy

Paradox makes the best trailers

Magicka 2 continues to outperform most games when it comes to trailers. And believe me, I know something about funny videogame video content.

It’s also quite fun. I had a chance to play Magicka 2 on PS4 last month and I’ve got to tell you, the new control scheme made so much more sense to my brain than the first one’s fighting game quarter circles. It’s good to have a mouse and keyboard alternate, especially because this one is coming to PS4. But also because doing four player local co-op in the first kind of required learning those quarter circle controller moves.

The rest of it is usual Magicka fare. Irreverence, vampire accents, and a lot of exploding spells. Plus, four player co-op and accidental friend murder. Sometimes not so accidental, of course.
