Viva Pi?ata: Party Animals demo is out on XBL and doesn’t suck … wait, what?

Fire up your Xbox 360 and get on Live Marketplace, because a demo for Viva Piñata: Party Animals is now available for download.

Most of you probably ignored coverage of the game after hearing that Rare would not be the developer; I know I did. But hey, the demo is free after all, so what have you got to lose? Absolutely nothing.

If you go into Viva Piñata: Party Animals with an open mind and take the title for what it is – a party game – you’ll probably enjoy yourself. Casual, family-friendly games are not easy to come by on Xbox 360, so maybe that’s why it’s so refreshing and fun.

Also, here’s a bit of advice: do not let your girlfriend, wife, or kids play the demo unless you’re fully prepared to purchase Viva Piñata: Party Animals when it hits stores in late October. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
