Video Games Live is going to rock Seattle with the music of the Halo 3: ODST trailer. The “WORLD PREMIERE” — PR guys dig caps lock — event will be held in the Paramount Theatre on January 24. In addition to listening to the smooth sounds of ODST, attendees will be able to hang with a few personalities associated with the title, as well as Gabe and Tycho from Penny Arcade.
I’ve never had the opportunity to check out a VGL show, but I have a feeling this isn’t one that you should miss if you’re in the area. The music in the ODST trailer is nothing short of epic and should be quite pleasing to experience through a real orchestra.
In other VGL related news, the team is working on ten fresh segments for this year that will include the music of Mega Man, Chrono Cross/Trigger, Super Smash Brothers., Monkey Island, Shadow of the Colossus, Silent Hill, and Earthworm Jim.
