Valiant Hearts: The Great War is looking just as sharp, serious, and moving as it did when Hamza previewed it last year. The puzzle adventure game set during World War I and starring a varied cast of characters (including a cute dog) is almost upon us. On June 25, it will launch on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One for $14.99.

It is not often that games look to the First World War as a setting. It was a truly brutal conflict, and Valiant Hearts appears to be approaching it with a lot of respect. Its focus on the characters and their relationships in the face of the traumatizing events is something worth exploring. In a little over a month, we can all do just that.
