What is Brutal Difficulty in V Rising?

Brutal mode is the most challenging Difficulty setting in V Rising, primarily reserved for veteran players. If you’ve already mastered the game’s world, this mode offers a fresh, intense experience. V Blood bosses have evolved, forcing Vampires to change up the strategies they established in Early Access

The mode is not just about increased difficulty; it’s about strategic mastery. V Blood Bosses now have a variety of moves on the battlefield, and their health and damage rates have also been amped up. With their higher levels, they’ll pose a significant challenge, demanding careful planning and execution. Enemies, in general, are going to be brutal, with damage rates boosted all around.

While Brutal mode may appear daunting, Stunlock Studios has included several advantageous features. You can anticipate more frequent loot drops and slower item durability depletion. Of course, enemy forces will still be difficult to handle, but the improved materials will provide a solid foundation for survival.

Hosts can embark on Brutal Difficulty mode whenever they are setting up a server. Various modes are available here, such as PvE and PvP Squad servers. Relaxed and Normal settings are also available if you ever want to take a breather at any point. While Relaxed primarily focuses on exploration and building, Normal features a balanced experience with much more combat.
