Use the Force with a Wii Light Sword

Recommended Videos

While Nintendo is going out of their way to make the Nintendo Wii peripherals safer and less damaging, others are fashioning them to look like a light saber. Great.

UK Web store Play.com has this Wii Light Sword (£14.99), which is an attachment that makes the Wii Remote several times longer than it needs to be. Forget ceiling fans, televisions, and faces — one of these in an eight-year-old Star Wars fan’s hands could bring a destructive Force to be reckoned with.

In all seriousness, if Star Wars: The Force Unleashed plays like we all hope it does, then this Wii Light Sword would be a great fit. For now, there’s Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, but that probably won’t cut the mustard for most Star Wars fans wanting the true light sabering experience.
