(Update) Snipperclips will be a launch game for Switch, getting a physical edition

Physical is out March 10 but it’s just a code in a Joy-Con box

[Update: The US date of March 3 has been confirmed by Nintendo of America.]

Folks were lamenting the fact that Snipperclips wouldn’t arrive at launch with the Nintendo Switch, but that changed as of this morning.

Nintendo of Europe has announced that the game will hit the eShop on March 3, followed by a physical bundle on March 10 with two more Joy-Con controllers and a download code — bringing your full Joy-Con count to four if you own a Switch. There’s also going to be a demo to try out. Yep, all the boxes have been ticked.

As one of the few co-op/multiplayer games at launch (and infinitely more enticing than 1-2 Switch), this is pretty good news. We expect it to hit the US eShop as well on the same date, and will update you when we hear more.
