Here's how to farm gems in Universal Piece for late game styles, powers, and weapons.

Almost every weapon, power, and style costs Gems in Universal Piece not mention the Fruit Gacha and Vendor also require Gems. It’s one of the most important resources in the game and I’m going to show you how to get a lot fast. Here’s my complete Universal Piece Gem farming guide.

You need to farm Gems in Universal Piece because the mid-to-late game specs, weapons, and powers have insane gem costs. There are three main ways to farm gems in Universal Piece and that’s

  • Boss Quests/Boss Quest Hopping one island or multiple islands (Fastest method).
  • Raids (Fast but also allows you to farm other resources).
  • AFK Farming by Fishing at Starter Island (Do this when AFK).
  • Check out our Universal Piece codes for free Gems.

I’ll provide examples of the first two methods below while Fishing is what you should be doing when not playing. Boss quest hopping can be done early and has no prerequisites while Raids require Keys (there’s a workaround we’ll cover below). Let’s talk about both methods below.

Boss Quest Gem Farming Method

Fishing is the simplest way to farm gems but Boss Quests can be faster and give you EXP as well if you’re taking quests that are your level. Basically it works because accepting a quest for a boss or even basic enemies and finishing it has a chance to drop Gems. Boss quests drop more gems than basic enemy quests and island boss chests drop even more. Here’s how it works:

  • Go to a lower level island that you can clear fast for faster Gems or a level-appropriate island to also farm EXP.
  • Accept the mini boss quest or the island boss quest.
  • Completing mini boss quests has a chance to drop gems.
  • Beating island bosses drops chests that have a chance to drop gems.
  • I highly recommend doing this on Cold Island (After Zombie Island) with the Gasy Quest and Gassy and Snow Quest and the Blizzard Queen Quests because they can also drop Keys for Raids.

Raid Gem Farming Method

You can join Raids at Cold Island (After Zombie Island) where each enemy and boss defeated drops Gems. You need a Key for Raids and they drop from Gassy and Blizzard Queen bosses on Cold Island so you should take the Gasy or Snow Quest. Raids have 6 slots and you can join Raids at Cold Island through following methods:

  • You have a Key and you start the Raid in front of the Raid building.
  • Join a friend’s Raid by entering the zone in front of the Raid building.
  • Join a random public Raid if there’s room (There’s a global notification when a Raid starts).

There are 10 waves in Raids and each enemy defeated will give you Gems but I highly recommend you max out Defense and one damage stat before farming Raids. You can finish them with 8000 to 10k Defense and damage stat but it’s harder.

Universal Piece Fishing Guide

You can do this method when you’re not playing the game for a passive AFK income of Gems in Universal Piece. All you have to do is:

  • Go to Starter Island.
  • Exit the Mansion and head straight down to the Docks.
  • Buy the Fishrod from the NPC on the left.
  • Stand in the Fishing space and interact with it (It must be vacant – If another player occupies it, you can’t fish).
  • This will earn you Gems almost each Fishing tick which is every dozen seconds or so.
