Ubisoft announced today that it will be releasing a new dance game for the Wii entitled, Just Dance. Interestingly, “Just Dance” is the first track from Lady Gaga’s 2008 album, The Fame. Interestingly, Lady Gaga does not appear anywhere in the announcement for the game. Not even in the early list of artists who will be appearing. You could say that there is a vacuum in the press release where Lady Gaga’s name should appear (i.e. everywhere).

The artists announced include:

– The Trashmen: Surfin’ Bird
– Fame (In the style of Irene Cara)
– Cyndi Lauper: Girls Just Want to Have Fun
– Technotronic: Pump Up the Jam
– MC Hammer: U Can’t Touch This
– Deee-lite: Groove Is in the heart
– Blur: Girls & Boys
– Katy Perry: Hot N Cold (Rock Version)

It isn’t a bad list, but until Ubisoft announces the inclusion of Lady Gaga to Just Dance, I’m officially boycotting. I realize that MC Hammer could really use the money, but not when there are far better songs I could be dancing to. Who’s with me?
