Aion 2 is now available on PCs worldwide, and you’ll want to tweak the in-game settings to get the best possible performance. While the game isn’t graphically intensive by AAA standards, you can still get stutters and lag. They can be immensely problematic if you’re specifically engaging in PvP content.
In this guide, I will go through the best settings to run on your device.
Best Aion 2 graphics settings
Before I explain the settings, here’s a rundown of my personal setup.
- AMD Radeon 9060 XT 16 GB
- AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
- 32 GB of DDR4 RAM
For this guide, I have focused on a range of settings that will allow you to enjoy Aion 2 even if your PC is closer to the minimum requirements. If your PC is powerful enough, you won’t need to make too many changes.
- Display Mode: Personal preference
- Vertical Sync: Turn this off unless you’re encountering lag.
- Screen Refresh Rate: 60 Hz. You can turn this up to 90 Hz, as I have tested both. However, 60 Hz is the sweet spot that will suit most players.
- Resolution Scale: Performance/Balanced.
- UI Proportion: Medium
- Texture Quality: Normal
- Effect Quality: Low
- Mass Combat Quality: Low
- Model Quality: Low
- View Distance Quality: Low
- Vegetation Quality: Very Low
- Shadow Quality: Very Low
- Shading Quality: Low
- Global Illumination Quality: Low
- Reflection Quality: Low
- Cloud Quality: Very Low
- Post-Processing Quality: Low
- Anti-Aliasing: Low

For now, I have kept the Upscaler turned off, but you can turn it on if necessary. Here are some of the changes you can make to the minor settings.
- Player Particle Effect Display: Everyone
- Volumetric Fog: On
- Ambient Occlusion: NCAO
- Water Reflection Method: Performance
- Display as Tier Icon: On
- Identical Player Appearance: Off
