Wants to ‘wake-up’ the genre on PC and consoles

The company behind Train Simulator, Railsimulator.com, has rebranded itself as Dovetail Games. The name change represents a shift in focus to that of simulation beyond merely trains.

CEO Paul Jackson says the team is “still completely committed” to its Train Simulator line, “but we know that in order to continue to grow our business, as we have done year-on-year since launching in 2009, we need to reach out into other new areas.” Dovetail wants to break into “new simulation options,” though specifics weren’t given.

Lots of choices here, though I suspect the company won’t go as niche as Airport Ground Crew Simulation. (That’s a real game, by the way.) What would your dream sim be? I want a modern-day Odell Down Under, which will probably never happen.
