Better late than never!

Everything’s finally going to be okay, guys! Sony has updated the PS Vita’s PlayStation Store to include several more PSOne Classics, the most important one being Tomba!. The titles are available to download on your Vita right now.

When Sony allowed access to the PSOne Classics this week, North America started with a pitiful nine games for direct download. It seems that Sony’s slowly rolling out more as the days go buy, starting with this larger update. A few key titles such as Crash, Spyro, Metal Gear Solid, and non-VII Final Fantasy titles are still missing. Still, I have my Tomba! at last!

Here’s the current list of games available to buy and download direct to Vita, as verified on my own lil’ system:

  • Alundra
  • Arc the Lad
  • Arc the Lad II
  • Championship Bass
  • Cool Boarders 2
  • Extreme Pinball
  • Final Fantasy VII
  • Grandia
  • Hi-Octane
  • Hot Shots Gold
  • Jet Moto
  • Klonoa: Door to Phantomile
  • Magic Carpet
  • Medal of Honor
  • Medal of Honor Underground
  • Nuclear Strike
  • Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus
  • Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee
  • Popular: The Beginning
  • Rayman
  • Rayman 2: The Great Escape
  • R4 Ridge Racer Type 4
  • SimCity 2000
  • Societ Strike
  • Syphon Filter
  • Tekken
  • Tekken 2
  • Theme Hospital
  • Rainbow Six
  • Tomb Raider
  • Tomba!
  • Twisted Metal 2
  • Vanguard Bandits
  • Wild Arms
  • Wing Commander IV

Still not a huge amount, but it’s at least a step forward, which is better than nothing. Now that Tomba! is finally available for PS Vita download, I am going to buy it. You see how that works, Sony? You give me a thing to purchase, and purchase it I shall!

Videogames, guys!
