A shark beast in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

Here’s the first, suitably crazy, gameplay for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

Perhaps the worst Dungeon Master in history?

During today’s PlayStation Showcase, we got to see our first gameplay footage of Gearbox’s colorful and crazy Borderlands spin-off, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. The mini-maniac and her crazy imagination will be let loose on March 25, 2022.

The game uses a “multiclass system that lets you mix and match six unique character skill trees,” per creative director Matt Cox. “You can also customize how your players look and sound. You can do all this solo or party up with up to three friends for four-player co-op.”

While Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands features a far more storybook-esque aesthetic than the regular Borderlands releases, it has the same bombastic, hi-octane action gameplay that is the franchise’s trademark. Prepare to roll the dice on dragons, monsters, ghosts, goblins, and even a crystal pony. And then blow them all apart with extreme prejudice.

Be wary though, Tina can be a pretty sore loser… As in, when she loses, y’all get pretty sore…

Aside from PS4 and PS5, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will also be coming to (almost) everything else: PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Apologies if the Switch is your ride-or-die.

And no, your ears didn’t deceive you — that was Babymetal!
