There’s a new chill-out-in-VR simulator called Perfect

Out soon for PSVR, Vive, and Oculus Rift

Which game(s) do you use to demo virtual reality to friends and family who aren’t typically into gaming? Job Simulator and Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes have been two of my go-to titles. They’re good, silly fun and are both very much social experiences whether you’re playing or just watching.

The studio behind VR adventure The Assembly, nDreams, is back with another release. This one is an all-ages “escapism experience” called Perfect. It’s pretty much what that sounds like — you’re chillin’ out, maxin’, relaxin’ all cool in scenic environments — but, crucially, you can listen to music.

“We’ve designed Perfect so that it can be experienced by anyone. The experience is gentle and immersive, and simple controls make Perfect an ideal way for family and friends to experience the wonders of virtual reality. Perfect also supports motion controllers across all three platforms for those of you who can move around in your playing space and interact with the environment.

You can also stream your own music on Spotify, or enjoy the in-game radio which plays a range of relaxing tracks. If you’d rather soak up the sights and sounds, subtle and richly-detailed background ambience will take you away to that special relaxing place.”

Perfect is coming to PlayStation VR (December 13 in North America; December 20 in Europe), HTC Vive (December 16), and Oculus Rift (“soon”), and it’ll cost $9.99 / €9.99 / £7.99.
