The Xbox One Elite controller will be in low supply this month

It’s still $150

The more I use the Xbox One Elite controller, the more I’m stuck on it. It’s been pretty great to me so far despite the insane $150 price tag, but it looks like people who own these things are going to be a bit more “elite” in other ways as of this month.

Microsoft, by way of Major Nelson, has announced that the unit is sold out across the country, and that “supplies are limited” until next month rolls around. More are coming out “each week” but they don’t expect the situation to improve until December.

For something as pricey as this, people could stand to give it some thought before racing to pick one up.
