The Xbox Live Marketplace is now the Xbox Games Store

It appears as if Microsoft is ahead of schedule on the transition to the Xbox One, as it just recently eliminated Microsoft Points from its marketplace. Now, the “Xbox Live Marketplace” has been re branded before the Xbox One’s November launch into the “Xbox Games Store.”

It’s not a huge deal, but Microsoft is starting to make some strides into transition before launch, which is a nice change from publishers who tend to scramble directly at launch, or fail to provide basic features out of the box. Hopefully Microsoft’s day one “DRM removal” update won’t be nearly as problematic.
