The Garden Warfare 2 open beta starts today

January 14 – 18 on Xbox One and PS4

The Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 beta begins today. If you have an Xbox One or PlayStation 4, just head to your respective storefront and download away. It should be live in most if not all regions by this afternoon. You don’t need a special code or anything to play.

The multiplayer beta runs until Monday, January 18. It contains “limited access” to the Backyard Battleground hub world, six new character classes (and some old favorites), six game modes, and four maps.

This trailer reminds me of the M&Ms advert that plays in theaters and somehow gets laughs every dang time.

“This is your mission…”

“No, this is an envelope.”

The fact that I didn’t have to look that up surely means I’ve seen too many movies lately.
