As you progress in Aniimo, the battles get tougher, which means you might be seeking ways to better enhance your team of Aniimo. Luckily, evolution is a key feature, and you can evolve your loyal Aniimo to massively improve their overall abilities.
There are all kinds of different ways you can upgrade yourself and your Aniimo, so finding and figuring out how to use evolution can be fairly tricky. It’s one of the best ways to increase your power and ensure you have an easier time progressing, though, so it’s a mechanic you’ll want to get familiar with as early on as possible. How do you evolve Aniimo?
You can evolve an Aniimo by selecting the small, circular, cat-shaped icon with three arrows on it with any Aniimo selected on the Aniimo Management page. It can be rather tricky to find the first time around, so here’s a full breakdown of how to successfully evolve an Aniimo.
- Open the menu. The button you need to press to open this page varies depending on which platform you’re playing on, but it’s always displayed in the very top right corner of the screen.
- Find Aniimo Management. Once you’re on the menu, locate the Aniimo Management section. It’s in the top row, right in between the Inventory page and the mini map icon.
- Locate the Aniimo you want to evolve. The Aniimo Management page displays all the Aniimo you have in your inventory and on your active team. Find the one you want to evolve and click on them.
- Find and select the Evolve button. Once you’ve found the Aniimo you want to upgrade, look for the small evolve icon near the bottom right corner, slightly left of the Level Up option. This icon has a cat-shaped animal with two arrows pointing up on it. It’s available on all Aniimo except for Helion and Lunara, who cannot be evolved until you reach a specific point in the main storyline.
- Click on Evolve. After selecting the first Evolve button, you’ll be taken to the actual page for evolution. In the bottom right corner, you can click on the Evolve button to proceed with this process.
You can only evolve Aniimo after meeting the specific requirements needed for each one. They vary quite a bit from Aniimo to Aniimo, so you’ll need to learn how to check what each one requires.
Where to find evolution requirements in Aniimo
The specific requirements for evolving each unique Aniimo can be found under the evolution page. This page pops up upon selecting the cat-shaped icon mentioned in the previous section. All requirements for evolution are then displayed in the upper right corner. You cannot evolve an Aniimo until all of the requirements listed here have been met.
