The Escapists meets The Walking Dead later this year

I did not expect this!

The Escapists was a pretty awesome little strategy game, and it looks like Team 17 isn’t done yet with the series. It’s just announced The Escapists: The Walking Dead, which will evidently feature locations and characters from the comic series, putting you in the role of Rick Grimes.

With all of the mobile spinoffs and bad Merlin Derle Walking Dead games in the works, this one actually looks pretty good, and fitting, too. It’ll arrive on Xbox One and PC later this year.
