The DTOID SHOW: Mechwarrior, Sim City, & Baldur’s Gate!

Recommended Videos

Yes, you read that correctly. Today’s episode of The Destructoid Show is the closest we’ve actually come to the late-90’s flashback episode I’ve been dying to do that gives me an excuse to buy a Rammstein shirt and some UFO pants and dye my hair blue again.

For starters, there’s a trailer for Mechwarrior Online, and it’s absolutely badass. I seriously love this trailer, can’t figure out why, aside from the giant robots being dropped out of a spaceship and stuff. Then, because Will Wright suddenly felt like it, Sim City V. Some prototype footage of an unreleased Batman game based on the steampunk Gotham By Gaslight comic has surfaced, and Borderlands 2 will be getting Steamworks support, and back to the 90s, Baldur’s Gate appears to be getting a new sequel. Also, some stupid, dumb news — The Binding Of Isaac will not be appearing on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. Lame. LAME.
