The DTOID Show: “Girlfriend” mode, Dust, & XCOM

Recommended Videos

Today on The Destructoid Show, we bring you the hottest, slimiest journalistic filth to come out of the gaming industry.

For starters, Borderlands 2 caused a bit of a ruckus this morning by ruffling the feathers of everyone with the mention of a “girlfriend” skill tree, which I don’t even want to comment on because I’ll get yelled at. There’s also a new trailer. Jim Sterling gave Dust: An Elysian Tail an 8.5, which means only one thing: He is a big fat pervy furry and has body pillows shaped like every single character in The Secret of Nimh. Or it’s a good game, whichever. Nintendo announced the release dates for a bunch of 3DS games, and shattered the hearts of everyone by announcing that Luigi’s Mansion 2 and Animal Crossing 3DS are not coming out anytime soon. Finally, XCOM: Enemy Unknown aims to please the hardcore fans.

Also, it’s Shark Week. So we talk about famous sharks in gaming, besides Hamza.
