The Division 2 Y8S2 Into the Dark release countdown
Y8S2 Into the Dark goes live worldwide on Tuesday, June 16. The following countdown will expire once the new season goes live.
The countdown is based on the following times.
- 5:30am PST
- 7:30am CST
- 8:30am EST
- 12:30pm UTC
- 1:30pm BST
- 2:30pm CEST
The times are from Ubisoft, and any change this late is unexpected. The game will undergo maintenance before launch, and the servers will be down. After the maintenance, you can update your game client and explore the new content.
What to expect from The Division 2 Y8S2 Into the Dark
The second season of Year 8 in The Division 2 will be focused on the Dark Zone mode. So far, most of the work this year has been focused on PvE content. For a change, the PvP will now get a major rebalance and changes.
We will also have a global modifier related strictly to the Dark Zone mode. I am excited to find out how the changes will affect the mode. I have always avoided the Dark Zone, but it might be time for us to revisit the PvP side of things.
We will also have a new kill squad joining the Retaliation section of the game. New scout missions are also coming for those who love Manhunt campaigns. Finally, we will have a new season pass, exotics, and more. There’s also a chance that we get a Prototype item from the pass, but that’s just me hoping. We will have more information once the season goes live tomorrow.
