Unveiled by way of a hokey eSports angle, this odd looking game is bringing a little fantasy to our normally grounded, gritty modern survival genre world. It’s called The Darwin Project, and will feature head-to-head elimination matches with special powers and a cartoony flair.
It’s billed as an “Xbox One console launch exclusive,” so it’s likely confirmed for at least PC. There’s an awful lot of “console launch” and “console exclusive” talk going on in this conference, but as long as the game doesn’t ship with the cringey commentary, I’ll at least give it a look.
