So today some Unreal Engine 4 stuff surfaced, but I thought most of the pictures look pretty ehhhhhhhhh. Especially after the amazingness that was the “Samaritan” demo video, shown last year. Visual fidelity is nice, but it’s worthless without great design. Because of that, I’ve always thought that a game that can nail down a specific style and execute them well will always be better than a game that is technically amazing but lacks inspiration.
