For years I’ve been told that the near-coma most experience after plowing through turkey, ham, potatoes, green beans, fresh bread, stuffing, and countless, various pies is caused by the amino acid tryptophan found in turkey. That’s just a way to justify eating so f*cking much though, isn’t it? “I just ate 14 plates of stuffing and I’m so sleepy… damn tryptophan.” (I won’t tell). Go back to sleep.
