The Book of Unwritten Tales goes on sale

Whilst it’s still to early to tell whether or not Double Fine’s Kickstarter project will be a success or failure in delivering a top-quality game, it has succeeded in showing there is still demand for adventure games. In a bid to give the genre a bit of a boost during this time of interest, The Book Of Unwritten Tales has seen a price reduction.

If you haven’t already played it, the game tells the story of three characters trying to stop a powerful artifact from falling into the hands of an evil sorceress. The Book of Unwritten Tales is a pretty darn good, old-fashioned point-and-click adventure that manages to crack some decent gags at the genre’s expense and even gaming in general.

The hooray-adventures-are-not-dead sale is knocking 33% off The Book of Unwritten Tales over at the KING Art Games’ website until the 15th of March, so head over there to take advantage.
