TGS 09: What’s in the box? PSPgo peripherals, baby!

Recommended Videos

While combing the Tokyo Game Show floor earlier today, we noticed that one glass case in Sony’s hardware showcase line up was covered. So we speculated… what could it be? A new hardware announcement? The final design of the PlayStation 3 Motion Controller?

Well, the reality isn’t quite that exciting. Underneath the box was a slew of add-on peripherals for the PSPgo… a cradle, a bluetooth headset, screen protectors, and cables. Lots of freakin’ cables. To say I was disappointed when I rushed to see what they had uncovered is an understatement.

But hey, at least I know that after I spend $250 on my new handheld, I’ll be able to spend more of my cash on other crap, too. Because that’s what I wanted.

The detailed press release (hold on to your pants, this is some really exciting stuff) after the jump.
